  • It’s been so long since I last posted, I almost forgot how to use xanga and it did take me a couple tries in order to get my password correct.

    I remember the days when I used to come to xanga for comfort and release of any emotional strains I had going on. I think that’s why I will always love xanga, it was really a place for me to be me.
    I have other blogs now and fb of course, but it just isn’t the same. It’s not a place I can really write down how I’m really feeling. I know no one really reads this anymore, that’s why I’m coming back to it.

    Been feeling lonely lately. Weird how the older you get, the word “lonely” means different things. I used to be lonely because I didn’t have a bf. Now I have a bf who is seriously the best in the world and in that sense – I am fulfilled.
    I feel lonely because I feel like I don’t have that many close friends that I can truly count on.

  • Oh My!

    I haven’t signed on in so long – I almost forgot my password. I used to love this place and had to sign on everyday, multiple times a day – what happened to me? Gone are the days of journaling and sharing my world experiences. I need to make a comeback.

    Hello – is anyone out there?

  • Rugby in Japan

    I have been away from xanga for awhile – for that I apologize. I’m sure I have lost many readers, but I’m hoping there are still a few of you out there that believed I’d make a comeback. =) So here I am. I am now back in Tokyo – everything has been happening so fast. I don’t even know if I should be here or not – life has been more stressful than I imagined, but I’m sure I can handle it. I made the choice to come back so I just have to deal with it.

    Last night I had the opportunity to go watch a rugby game courtesy of my friend Ai’s friend – Ai. =) She is dating one of the rugby players for the “Suntory” team from Tokyo. It was my first time ever watching a rugby game – I’ve never even seen it on tv! I have concluded that rugby is a mix of football, soccer, sumo, wrestling, & cheerleading. In some of these pics – you will see why.

    :: before I went to meet Ai – I stopped by to get a cream puff – it was delicious! ::

    :: Ai says this street is famous in Tokyo (for its trees) ::

    :: I thought this was so funny – an area designated to SHAKE HANDS ::

    :: Ai made the mistake of shaking hands with the other team! Whoops! ::

    :: The cool thing about this Rugby game was – you could bring your own food inside ::

    :: I didn’t understand rugby in the beginning and I didn’t understand it at the end – nevertheless it was fun to watch ::

    :: like cheerleading ::

    :: @ halftime (there was no show) but the mascot came out to throw t-shirts ::

    :: like football ::

    :: the guy in the pink is the ref (i love their outfits!) – poor guy got injured so the guy on the medical team was helping him ::

    :: like sumo ::

    :: in the end – they lost by 10 =( ::

    :: all the players walked over to our side to wave and thank their fans – then they walked away with their heads hung low b/c they lost =( ::

    :: Ai (her bf is the one that got us tickets – he is on the team – a pro rugby player!), Yukari, & Ai ::

  • I know I have been SO bad at posting on here ever since I started my beauty/fashion blog, but since this blog is more about my personal life – I should be better at it.

    I am so behind on pictures – I don’t even know where to start. So instead I’ll post something random.

    Last night I went to see Dark Knight (it was really good btw – and Heath Ledger did an EXCELLENT job as the Joker) with my bf, Neal. It’s not often that we get a free moment to spend time with just us so even though we were more focused on the movie than on eachother (as how it should be), it was still good being able to spend time with him (and hundreds of others in the theatre).

    He had to get there first to save seats. Even though the movie opened up a couple weeks ago, the lines are still long and tickets are still being sold out. I was running around doing some errands and had to stop by Target to get a few things so I picked up some Chex Mix (his favorite is the Chocolate Turtle one) – have you tried it? It’s really good! While browsing around, I saw the Chex 100 Calorie bags in Chocolate Caramel – it sounded good so I bought some. Now I am HOOKED! I am going to stock up and bring them to Japan with me. hahaa

    He got seats smack in the middle of the theatre and had to walk in front of at least 12 people to come out and give me my ticket.. then we had to cross those same people to get back to our seats. Needless to say, they were pretty ticked off since we were blocking their view for a split second, but we did try apologize and ducking the whole way. Anyway, it’s ok b/c I had a bag full of goodies.. aka:

    is about celebrating the moment
    and that we’re not guaranteed or owed another day
    and how cool it is that what we hide
    can actually be the fuel towards our glory
    and that it’s not so bad being proven wrong

    is about welcoming the blind turn
    and the possibility that
    there’s no such thing as coincidence
    and that empathy is incredibly sexy
    and that it’s never too late to
    pick up a guitar or a paintbrush
    or to make an amend or to make a new friend

    could be about rekindling a past flame
    or igniting a new one
    or shapeshifting from a dreamer into a doer
    or savouring the caress of a love long gone

    means whatever it is you want it to mean because

    is a celebration of you and your path

    ‘cuz it could go at any second

    you rock.
