• Weekend getaway with the girls.

  It's been awhile (ok maybe the first time ever) the 3 of us had the chance to take a mini trip together. It was only an overnight trip, but we did so much!

  :: while thuy drove, she had her nails buffed by melissa ::

  

  :: girls and all our stuff ::

  

  :: melissa packed enough for a week long trip - her luggage tripled mine and thuy's, but we still love her ::

  

  :: first eating stop : madam mam's! i can never get over how good their pad thai is ::

  

  :: then off to momokos where we got the new york manhatten (marg introduced me to that drink) ::

  

  :: then we went to FlipHappy Crepes! ::

  

  :: thuy is HAPPY! ::

  

  :: this little trailer can whip up some mean crepes! ::

  

  :: but surprisingly enough - it looks better than it tastes - or maybe it was because i got eaten alive by the mosquitos so i couldn't enjoy it as much as i should have ::

  

  :: but being there still made me happy ::

  :: after our crepe stop - we had to pee really bad so we stopped by the nearest fast food place (which happened to be taco bell) and melissa parked as though she OWNED the place ::

  

  :: and thuy got these guys to take a picture of us - we told them we had never been to a taco bell before (and they believed us!) ::

  

  :: then off to mt. bonnell to enjoy the sunset ::

  

  :: and a beautiful sunset it was ::

  

  

  :: can you believe we've been friends since we were 3? ::

  

  

  

  :: afterwards we stopped by coco's - when thuy stepped out of the car, she tripped - ended up she tripped b/c she had her flip flops on the wrong foot. it was really funny ::

  

  :: the soup tastes just like how i remember ::

  

  :: then we went back to the hotel to get ready to go out to 4th street - it ended up taking us about 3 hours to get ready, but hey that's the best part of going out! ::

  :: we went to meet up doah & janae where miss doah got us in VIP (b/c she rolls like that) thanks, doah! ::

  :: then we met up another old high school friend, mai ::

  

  :: the next morning we woke up and thuy & melissa went downstairs to make us texas shaped waffles - how cute! ::

  

  :: then we stopped by highland mall to see what forever 21 had - we ended up getting there before it even opened - we ended up being the first ones in the store - we're what you would call "true shoppers" ::

  

  :: then off to "shanghai" for dim sum ::

  

  :: we met up mai, bao tran, and their friends right before we headed back to houston ::

  

  :: what a lovely trip with such lovely girls - can't wait til we do it again! ::
