life..
ive been going through a lot of ups and downs lately.. more downs than ups.. but i won't get into that and leave you feeling sorry for me..
anyway.. on my way home today as i was parked at a red light.. all these thoughts were running through my head..and then i start comparing my life to the lives of those around me.. (aka my successful friends - and yes.. that means YOU) i was thinking to myself.. "gee my life sucks".. and as though it could only get worse.. out of nowhere.. BOOMMMMM a car hits me from behind..
we were at a red light... both of us were stopped waiting for the light to turn green.. i dont really know how it happened.. perhaps he just wasnt paying attention.. but yeah.. there is no outer damage on my car because i drive an suv with a hitch..so basically the hitch saved my car from damage, but gave their car damage..
now im sitting here in pain.. my head and back hurt really bad.. i tried sleeping for a few hours and woke up because the pain was so bad.. i was pretty shaken up and in a lot of pain when it first happened.. i couldnt even move for a good 5 minutes.. i didn't really know what to do b/c i've never really been in an accident before.. well i have.. but i wasn't driving.. anyway.. i got all their information and their insurance called me today already.. looks like i have a lot of stuff to do tomorrow..
so the moral of the story is... right when you think your life sucks.. know it could always be worse!
i am thankful that it wasn't a serious accident and that my injuries are only minor. praise God!

im glad you are ok though... i know youre going through some pain but it will go away.. i have some chiropratics to refer if you want! call me, we can go get coffee and catch up with our busy lives.
Wow, that does suck! He must have been in the wrong though so I guess he will pay the damages?!

you really need to go get checked out, go hit up a doctor while you're out, accident injuries can show up long after the actual accident, so you need to catch them early
whoa. glad you're ok jeannie. sorry to hear about your accident, but thankful that it wasn't more serious. i echo what david said... see a dr. soon because accident injuries may not reveal themselves later when its too serious and too late.

glad you're ok friend! I don't know about you... but I don't know that many people who have spent years of their lives living in a different culture/country and traveling the WORLD! Consider yourself lucky my dear!
I am so glad and thankful that you are okay. Things always look greener on the other side and I know many would love to have lived your life traveling all over the world like you do! You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Find yourself a good chiropractor so they can massage out the sprain/strain that you most likely got out of the rear end collision! If you were here in Dallas, Thu and I would take good care of you!

haha... i KNEW you'd be the only one to comment on my kristine sa post. i think i am her #1 fan. i even bought her cd's with her autograph on it. i'm going to purchase her animetoonz album (lime & lemon version) and her newest one hopeless romantic. i just found out she's tam doan's sister (another viet singer).
we're going to hang out in the woodlands tomorrow for lunch and play around market street. i'll call to see if you can make it. =)

mama, i pray that you're better! hang in there and be steadfast my dear. i know things have been challenging since being back, but God has His plans for you. keep doing your thing and go big or go home. you know i'm always thinking and praying for you, so rest up and know that you're loved. keep me posted on your progress in health and endeavors. my trip home was awesome and refreshing to kick off 2008 in el sal. dang, time flies i'll be done next year already and see where God has me next. i'm back in el sal now and hanging out with some friends in the capital. yeah, getting deeper and rocking out with our dreams, goals, and projects. good luck and yes, can't wait to host you here before i'm back in the states...or will i be hahahha. love you and I'm grateful that you're safe and healing. have a great week and ttys! rock on makeup artists, hairstylists, stylists, ARTISTS period. ttys!
