• been busy...

  helping with the planning of my cousin, jeannie's wedding (yes we have the same name)

  2 weekends ago june (her moh) and i planned her bachelorette party that was supposed to be held in galveston.. but then humberto hit and we had to change our plans last minute.. even though everything was hectic.. we just worked with what we had.. we ended up taking a weekend trip up to lake charles (in louisiana) and stayed at L'Auberge du lac Casino Resort.. thanks to the help of our VIP friend (aka hang)

  we had a wonderful girls weekend laying out at the pool (still gotta work on my tan) and floating down the lazy river.. we had a night full of laughs and 'bachelorette games' - i am not posting those b/c it's between the girls.. but also b/c you never know who reads your blog!  too risky.

  

  :: first night we just hung out and did a little gambling - i lost $15 and i quit.. haha ::

  :: so random! that night as we were headed back to our hotel room (around 3am) - we were in the elevator and this guy was in there with us.. he was talking about how he really had to pee. ends up he got off at the same floor as us..and walked right in when we opened the door! we were so shocked.. ends up june recognized him and said he was ryan from houston's 104krbe morning show "the roula & ryan" show.. it was so funny! when he got out... he sat and talked with us for awhile.. he was a really nice guy.. he was telling us about his wife and how she'll laugh when he tells her about how he ended up in a room full of pretty asian girls at 3am.. hahaha ::

  :: on the way back we stopped by O'Charleys - the last time i ate here was in TN.. i didnt know they had one 'closer' to home.. i was soooo excited - the rolls are the BEST! ::
